Overview

Lyn Marcrum is a straight through processing (STP) subject matter expert with over twenty years of experience working in banking technology, capital markets operations, and consulting in the United States, Europe and Asia. Her clients include brokers, fund managers, and custodians with whom she has worked to implement market-driven and other strategic changes. She also advises technology companies on product development and client integration and implementation issues.

Practice Areas of Emphasis

Lyn focuses on bridging the significant gaps that exist between technology, the business objectives of the industry and the end users’ needs. She is proficient in addressing the development and implementation of data standards as well as assessing industry movement toward XML and other emerging protocols. Her extensive work experience with SWIFT includes the development and implementation of ISO 15022, ISO 20022, and FIX. This experience, coupled with her practical, hands-on operational expertise, enables her to provide guidance to clients regarding industry standards and other strategic technical issues.

Education

Lyn holds a Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a Bachelor degree (cum laude) in Business and Spanish from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
